What’s the first step to starting my Tinker inspection?
Download the Tinker app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once installed, create an account and complete your profile — including selecting which rideshare (Uber or Lyft) or car share (Turo) platforms you're driving for, so we can match you with the correct inspection form. Then just follow the prompts in the app and tap to get connected with a live Expert. You’ll be guided step-by-step through your virtual inspection. Make sure you're near your vehicle in a bright location and have all required info on hand.— it’s fast, easy, and all done from your phone!We currently support inspections in multiple states, and we’re working on adding more soon.

How much does the Tinker inspection service cost?
A Tinker rideshare inspection costs $39.99 for an Uber or Lyft vehicle inspection or $24.99 for a Turo car inspection. If you drive for both Uber and Lyft, you can choose our Uber and Lyft inspection bundle for just $49.99. All inspections include up to three inspection attempts and is fully certified and accepted by Uber, Lyft, and Turo. All inspections are completed remotely from your phone, making the process fast, affordable, and convenient.

What if my car doesn’t pass the inspection?
You get 3 attempts with any Tinker service plan to pass your inspection. If your vehicle doesn’t meet the requirements after 3 tries, you can book another inspection.
