WHY TINKER

Tinker vs. Visiting a Local Mechanic

Been searching for “Uber inspection near me” or not sure where to start your vehicle inspection?
Look no further—we’ve broken down the top two options to help you decide.

Option 1: Visit a Local Mechanic Shop
You can find a certified mechanic near you through Uber Greenlight Hub tool to complete your Uber vehicle inspection in person. While this is a straightforward method, it can be time consuming. You might face long appointment wait times, limited availability, and varying costs. In most cases, you will also need to print and bring the Uber inspection form with you.

Option 2: Get Inspected Online with Tinker
For a faster and more convenient option, try Tinker Rideshare Inspections. Our 100% certified mechanics are available on demand to guide you through a quick and efficient virtual inspection all from your phone. You get affordable, transparent pricing with no upsells or hidden fees. While other platforms offer online inspections, not all provide same day approval or the reliability of our expert team. Tinker makes it easy to complete your rideshare inspection and start earning with Uber as quickly as possible.

Does the vehicle need to be registered in my name?
No, however, you must be listed on the insurance policy.
